Gun Shops in Woodland Ca

Hello,

Does anyone know if there are still any gun shops here in Woodland? I know there used to be Norse Armory but it looks like their gone, not sure if there is anything else.

Gunsmith in area Craig Maraviov good work takes time and some say expensive. What he did for me was reasonable.

What was wrong with Toro? I always had excellent experiences there, but I only went in a few times.

I think Toro is gone too. As far as I know there are none here. I could be wrong though.

Depends on the gun, my Smith & Wesson didn't really come back fixed. It worked but it wasn't fixed.

I bought a new part and will know if I fixed it this weekend's test shoot. (I put in an extended firing pin for a 625JM that has a frame mounted firing pin)

I suppose it takes a specialist sometimes.

HA HA forgot about Big 5. Not a bad selection too, I just picked up a 15-22 recently and they had a couple AR 15's in stock. As well as a mini-14.

Toro Arms in woodland is still going strong. I just got a shotgun from buds sent there! They are on main and east st. 3rd floor at court house. YES court house. They have great service, as far as saying any small business being gone in woodland thats the real shame! Having guts and starting and running a business in Woodland or even in California is awesome. So Toro and Maraviov are doing business in this bad time in this country should be given a hand. The only shame I see is bashing the little guys, go to walmarts and big5 these guys don't need you! -- my two cents

He swapped and clocked two barrels of hi wall browning for me. Was model1885 and put a mod 78 barrel on to get me my 45-70. I was a happy camper.

I agree that Toro has always been good to deal with. The owner and his wife deal in out of state and PPT now. Keeping a running, stocked and profitable gun store in Woodland seems to be a challenge. I would guess part of the problem is that there is not the population base of the greater Sacramento area to draw customers from. Maraviov does good work and he is a good guy to deal with. Just be prepared he is usually busy and it can take some time to get stuff done. However he does not FFL.
