Still, life is too short to not enjoy one's guns. Shoot it.

Shoot it once clean it and then sell it as unfired just like someone did to you..... Are we to believe that any firearm is truly unfired? I don't know about the Colt manufacturing process but certainly no current production pistol is truly unfired. How do you verify that a collectible firearm is unfired? This safe queen stuff is nonsense.

Can't see why not, cars need to be driven, guns need to be shot, and women need to cook

Shoot it, otherwise it's just a sexy paper weight

With revolvers, no turn line would be a pretty good sign. I vote shoot it. Pretty expensive to be a paperweight. If it was worth in the tens of thousands unfired I might change my mind. But value in the thousands no brainer, shoot it.

                  So was this post...............priceless.

I have no idea what to do. I don't think I would have spent two grand on it in the first place.

                        Shoot it, don't abuse it.
Mild loads and clean it very carefully. Keep a pistol rug with you at the range so you do not set it down on a hard dirty surface.
The Pythons are still going up in value. How much difference in value is lightly fired vs. unfired? In a few years, it will still be worth more than you paid for it.
                        Good luck.

i took it to my local gun shop to be inspected. I was told it had been only fired once at the Colt factory. There was light marking on only one cylinder. I guess thats an unofficial testimony ,but I also looked to and I also saw the same. And no I did not pay 2 grand on gun. I spent much less than that.

ULTRA fail on the picture, ESPECIALLY if you have your browser in less than full screen and hit the arrow pointing left on the picture expecting to see more pics of the Python....
