Perhaps someone can school me on how one of these "FTF" face-to-face transactions goes down. I haven't any experience with the marketplace on this website and I'm interested. Help is appreciated. Thanks!

Short answer:
On long guns 50+ years you can meet a person and pay them and they give you the firearm.
On pistols and firearms that aren't 50+ years or older (newer long guns) you would meet face to face at a an 01 dealer (usually a gun store) and perform a private party transfer in order to transfer the firearm. A $35 fee is associated with a transfer here.
Someone who is more awake can add more but thats the skinny.Comment
