I've heard very good things about this shop which is why I did a little shopping with them. I placed an order last Tuesday but I still have not received the package. They're in Taft, Im in Santa Clarita - practically local. I ordered some kits from 44mags on Wednesday and that package arrived already and they're in Oregon. A takedown pin and a bullet button should fit right on an envelope with minimal postage. I was hoping on using the AR on the range this weekend but that wont happen.

Well I did call them and asked for availability and time of shipment before placing the order. I was told in stock and will ship right away. I'm merely stating my experience. Notice on my post that I'm not asking for help in resolving any matter, because there is nothing to resolve. I'm sure they're great hardworking people and sometimes things get a little crazy so efficiency drops a little. I'm just voicing out my opinion so that in an event that someone is in urgent need of something, maybe the best action would be to drive there and pick it up, or go somewhere else. If I sounded a little stressed or on edge, I apologize. It's really not a big deal so no need for me to take a chill pill.

I'd make the call and ask when the parts shipped; nothing really to say until 10% lets you know where your order is.

Wes, gets me my stuff really quick. So I'm a little surprised to hear this, its got to be a mix up. I'm sure he will resolve the issue quickly, once he sees this. So I would relax about it.

My first order with Wes ended up delayed a week but he emailed and explained and sent it right out. I had nothing but great service from him.

Wes isn't here to rip you off and normally ships very fast. If there's a delay I'm sure there's an acceptable reason for it.

I just talked to my partner about this. Our usual ship days are Wednesdays and Sunday nights. We processed your order Wednesday night and packaged it up for mail Thursday. Unfortunately, my partner's got busy and didn't actually ship the non-priority mail envelopes until Friday. I apologize for the delay.

You still might have received your package Saturday, but my other partner has the delivery confirmation labels so I can't check.

My partner's are recycler's by profession so I think they get used to doing things on their time frame which I don't fault them for in the recycling business. I try to impress on them the importance that we get out shipments out when we say we will and why we want to try and do two days of shipping a week instead of just one.

We try to do it the way we do it so you can get your parts for the weekend. Most times that works out.

I am sorry this happened to you, but it has been an excellent lesson for my partners. They probably think I am just being anal, but as we can see from this customer's experience, when you ship a package does matter.

I have quite a few guys who placed orders today and those items will arrive on Tuesday. Usually the orders placed on Tuesday should be to you by Friday or Saturday at the latest. Sometimes things happen.

I've always had great service when ordering from Wes. Always got my orders in 2-4 days (depending on when I place the order). He's a great guy to deal with.

I know you can usually expect a couple days for shipping usps priority within CA. But did you tell them you need the stuff by friday? They might have tried to get your order out sooner knowing that.
