And you pay Davidsons a "deposit ". Then pay the remaining balance to your ffl. They have a video titled " how it works".

Gun Genie is good in my experience. Even better, I walked into Ralstons Rods in Scotts Valley asking about a gun. They told me to use their computer in the store to access GG to make the purchase and save some $.

Ok I figured out why the gun I was buying was so cheap. I was looking at an XD without any of the accessories that Springfield handguns usually come with. The gun with the kit is still a great deal at about $15 less OTD than the sticker price in Markley's before any fees.

GG is great! Plus, you lock down that price through GG, not your LGS! No hidden fees, etc.

Bought my XD.40 through GG and ended up finding a new LGS in the process...

Gun Genie

As I've said, I am now a huge fan of Gun Genie. No hidden fees or hassles. Simple and easy. What you see on the screen is what you pay. Not a dime more.

Only complaint I have is that their availability is pretty limited. I never expected to find back ordered or crazy popular guns (such as Keltec KSG shotgun), but even common gun store rifles and shotguns are out of stock.

Hand guns seem to be pretty available, particularly the common ones such as Glocks, XD's, Kahrs, Rugers, S&W's, etc.

Rifles and shotguns, not so much.

My hope is that supply eventually catches up with demand and most everything is available as this is the only way to buy a new gun!!!!
