I had the same problem as you did with the Eotech, especially when I was trying to focus on the sight itself. I put the G23 3x magnifier on it, and it became like night and day! MUCH sharper image, the reticle became much sharper, and the center dot actually became a dot.

To be honest, they aren't for everyone. However, I love mine. Once you get past 5-10 yards, if you are looking at the target and not the dot, it becomes clear and sharp as day.

Yup. Takes a little bit to get used to but whenever I aim at anything further than 10 yds it is crystal clear.

The g23 magnifier really helps too. Was getting nice 1-3 moa groupings at 100 yd this weekend at rahauges. I know I could do better but I'm fairly new to my ar15 and need more trigger time to become a more accurate shooter.

As I found also. I can't stand the toilet paper roll effect of the Aimpoints and I can't use the EOtechs. I don't like the Trijicon redicule at all nor the funky color..even their red isnt deep enough in my opinion.

I went to a C-More and have never been more happy with a RDS. Its rugged enough for everyday civilian carry, slammed against trees, dropped in the dity and cement, banged against rocks while climbing over them as with stone walls too. I do not like the plastic competition ones, the Aluminum ones are better for a everyday rifle. It has a 100% accurate dot adjustment meant to give the shooter 100% accuracy. It has swappable diodes of varying size from 2MOA to 16MOA The ATAC has a Mil-spec rear BUIS (its a Mil-spec carry handle chopped and modified as a mount). The batteries are cheap, very small and last weeks if left on. They are by far the best RDS for a civilian I have used.

You can get a Railway and place a folding BUIS behind it instead of their Fixed ATAC model. I am looking to do this now that I have a folding front BUIS.
