I see no point. Buy a good match trigger and be done with it. The break will be cleaner, and with overtravel screws, will make the pull feel much better.

If anything, two triggers is more dangerous because there are now TWO fingers that could negligently pull the trigger.

Unless it works like a paintball gun, there's no point. If anything, it gives you a disadvantage in controlling the rifle. You'll only have 2 fingers on the grip, and 2 on the trigger. They're trying to solve a problem that has an answer. The answer is better trigger job, not different trigger.

Although, it seems like it would be good for all day shooting for the 50+ crowd. Then you have less stress on a single finger throughout the day, and wouldn't be as tough for those with mild arthritis. I know of a few retirees who might find that enjoyable on range day...

They have double barrel 1911's, double AR's, now double triggers.
In the latest issue of American Rifleman, there was an article on the Nock gun. What they need to do is make an updated tactical version of a 7 barrel Nock gun.

When you have to shoot, shoot, don't talk.

calling it a "double trigger" is causing some misunderstanding. it's actually a two-finger trigger.

Personally I think it's silly, but as someone who played a lot of paintball with a mechanical marker with a 2 finger trigger it's definitely faster. Your middle finger has much faster motion than your index finger so it will allow faster trigger pulls. On my mechanical PPS Blazers (Disclaimer: I used to airsmith for them) I could routinely hit 9-12 steady balls per second. Thats 600+- shots per minute which is legitimate machine gun speed. (M-16 is 650-750). I doubt I could hold an AR steady and shoot anywhere near that fast but I don't doubt at all that I could shoot one faster with that trigger than a standard trigger.

That kludge costs $239! For that kind of money you can buy a Geissele trigger.
