Indeed. I used to be able to find a HD version of the HEAT shootout, starting all the way from the initial bank scene, as well as a HD clip of the nightclub shootout in Collateral. And a couple other goodies from other non-gun films.

Of course, youtube would rather pander to pre-teen pop videos and idiots filming themselves doing stupid things.

Yup. The thread I made about shootouts had the entire bank heist scene/shootout. Youtube can be great but also terrible at the same time.

He was lucky. It appears to be a 300 - 500 yard engagement and the 7.62 just didnt have enough voom left to punch through. As a member of a squad you can make forward movement on your threat without cover, since the threat can not concentrate on you the whole time. There is no way a single person could live through this, even against one threat.
