A very realistic AR based shootout scene - Embedded

This is the final scene from the British movie The Veteran. EDIT: Thanks to some "veteran" members, I see that this isn't actually very realistic. OH well! It's still entertaining . If you like shooting your ARs and have taken carbine classes tell us if this is fairly realistic gun handling. Enjoy.

True this would be a spoiler, but if you don't plan on seeing the movie then watch away.

Hadn't seen this movie but will check it out. The gunhandling wasn't bad although he does seem to enjoy dawdling instead of finishing his emergency reload.

Please tell me you do not think this is how a real fight goes down.

Who do you know that clears a street walking down the center of the street.

This is how it happens in a movie shure isn't anything I have seen in real life.

          enjoy the movies.

If you were really pissed and didn't care if you lived through it, then yeah, it's fairly accurate.

I tried watching the movie-the main actor and the story were so wooden and lifeless I thought I was watching Star Wars 1-3 and I couldn't finish it. I'll definitely check out the gun battle...

                    Hehe, realistic. That's funny.

I wish bad guys fell like that in real life. It would put a stop to all these pointless caliber war threads.

                      I agree.

Decent weapons manipulation. Strolling down the streets uncovered and running towards your enemies=unrealistic.

Fair enough. I guess it was just very different from your typical Hollywood action shootouts so I assumed it was because it was more realistic.

That said, rushing a position that is being held down by fire doesn't seem like a bad idea.

Not realistic; he had to reload his rifle. Everybody knows that AR-15s have unlimited magazines.
