I ordered a two pistol case from Tommy's gun pack a few weeks ago. He made and shipped it in 2 days and then took a week and a half from Simi Valley to Eat LA.

Had a sticker on back saying it was opened for inspection.

When I ship using the flat rate boxes, I always taped them up with extra tape in a cross- so far so good.

I don't trust the boxes as-is, the adhesive flap can fail, and the ends are relatively easy to rip out.

Usps loves to steal sunglasses and wallets that we ship to customers. They know what kind of boxes we ship them in, and recognize our company name on the package. Atleast they deliver our customers an empty and opened package as a consolation prize.

Once Cheaper than Dirt shipped to me pistol mags and other parts in a padded envelope. Envelope arrived torn and the mags were gone. They had to re-send me my order (which they screwed up, and re-sent me the wrong part of the order). On the third time they finally got it right.

Needless to say, this was my last order from Cheaper Than Dirt. Lousy customer service, crappy packaging, and they won't ship anything AR or AK related to California. So screw them.
