I think the round count is more or less a ball park thing, just as mileage on a car doesnt really say much. If its 30,000 hard miles with the pedal to the floor every second of the day as compared to 100,000 miles grandma driven to grocery store only 1 block away for 40 years. You cant always be sure. Cleaned and maintained round count as opposed to ridden hard and put up wet.

Oh, and my favorite question when selling something is "what's the least you'll take?" I dont even know you bro, the least I'll take is my big bad boot in your butt and you leaving in a hurry. Persons who are nice, and ACTUALLY try to make a deal get MUCH better deals from me.
Every facet, every department of your mind is to be programmed by you.
And unless you assume your rightful responsibility and begin to program your own mind, the world will program it for you.

Am I being too sensative when asked by potential buyers what the round count is on a second-hand, second generation, Law Enforcement trade-in Glock 17? If its an LE trade in how the hell would I know?

Glocks have been proven to be able to go 100,000 rounds.

I mean, overall condition being equal, could anyone really tell the difference betwee a Glock that had 1K vs. say 20K rounds down the pipe? I've seen more ruined barrels as a result of neglect and/or improper cleaning than having been shotout from too many trips to the range.
      Easy reply: "I don't know."

For Christsake you havent even let me respond to your questions much less seen the gun in person and now you want to low-ball me!

That one doesn't even get a reply from me; I tend to block them too so I don't have to hear any more of their stupidity. It's not just you.
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!
