So a kid (anybody under 40) comes over, with his tuperware gun that's jammed and asked for help. No problem, fixed it, cleared the jam and showed him how to take care of it for next time

So he sees my Golden Sabers and asks about them. Tell him their the 185g +p and work nice for my HD needs.

So he goes on the tell me how 185g in a .45 have no stopping power and how I need the 230g ammo to make sure that I get good stopping power blah, blah, blah
so then I ask him what he's shooting in his tuperware Gun and it's 147g 9mm WWB

          guess I'll never learn . . . .
          TD,
This sounds a LOT like Markley's. That place has really gone downhill.

You said this conversation was interesting. It was not.

"Tupperware" isn't derogatory.. hell, I call my Glocks the same thing. Just evolved from the containers that the first Glocks came in and fit given the polymer frame construction.

It's fine by me!! Everyone has to learn somehow, just ignore them guys who think the only way to prove they have a pair is to call out other people on their knowledge of gun nicknames.

A troll trying to call someone else a troll. LOL. MYK, just ignore the stupid answers and heed the correct ones. Librarian is always good for information. If you have a question, ask. I have to do the same from time to time. By the way, I love my tupperware guns. Most reliable semi's I have laid hands on.

Unless he has 147gr rounds as HD rounds, then it makes perfect sense to train with close to the same round.
