I was shooting my Sig 1911, just having fun with the 3x5 cards I use for targets

So a kid (anybody under 40) comes over, with his tuperware gun that's jammed and asked for help. No problem, fixed it, cleared the jam and showed him how to take care of it for next time

So he sees my Golden Sabers and asks about them. Tell him their the 185g +p and work nice for my HD needs.

So he goes on the tell me how 185g in a .45 have no stopping power and how I need the 230g ammo to make sure that I get good stopping power blah, blah, blah
so then I ask him what he's shooting in his tuperware Gun and it's 147g 9mm WWB

guess I'll never learn . . . .

147gr WWB is a waste of money.

Unless he has 147gr rounds as HD rounds, then it makes perfect sense to train with close to the same round.
