I went to the show to look for some 10/22 stuff but didn't find any.

Looking for some ammo deal but didn't find any.

Miwall was asking $7.95 + tax for 223 (55gr) ammo. Ouch!

Ended up with some 308 surplus stuff from one of the "small vendors".

ya, i went. it was okay. about 1/3 the size of the one a couple weeks ago in Orange County. I walked the entire show in about 45 min. I spent aboout 30 min of that time drooling over an HK USC that Cold War Shooters had on display. I bought some ammo for my .40 then headed out to the range. That was pretty much it. Ive never been to the ontario show but my brother told me its always pretty small. Accourding to him though this one was larger than the last time he went to it.

Yeah I saw that too. I also got to handle the GSG .22 mp5 clone. My opinion? It's worth the 500 bucks.

It kinda sucked. I won't be going to the Ontario shows again anytime soon.

First, It's $12 to get in and $5 to park.

I've been to the last 3 shows in a row at Ontario and have been to a few before that off and on. It's fun to go and look but the cost of getting inside always negated any savings that I may have gotton while shopping. This time, I bought a belt and some popcorn along with a free sample of jerkey.

I was looking for mag rebuild kits for mini-14's and G3's but didn't see any. I also couldn't find a good deal on a complete reloading set up and I really wanted some .223 bandolier kits. Ammo was all way overpriced as usual so I quit looking for that pretty early in the game. When all was said and done, we all bought a little something with the exception of two in our group that left empty handed.

I was also surprised to find only 1 vendor that really had any clue as to what a LEO credential looked like. However, a second vendor was at least confident about being able to verify one if he was unsure. The rest seemed clueless.

We did however grab some lunch at Hooters which made the trip worth it!

Dude you should've just parked acrossed the street (not the dirt) and used the coupon. Would've saved you 6 bucks there. Last time they weren't charging for parking across the street, but I guess someone thought they could make some money; but they don't know me though! About the ammo yeah it was a bit overpriced, but when you think about it, buying it online isn't that much cheaper for calibers.

Been there, drooled at the USC, JAE-100 M1A, GSG MP5, and Sig 556. I brought my dad there and infected him with BRD looking at the LMT Rifles at the ColdWarShooters table. I didn't want to bankrupt him so I took him to the Ammo Bros. table where they had a vanilla Stag Model 4. He said he forgot about black rifles since Turner's took them off the shelves many decades ago.

You must not have been looking very closely, I saw at least a halfdozen vendors with fancy stocks, bull barrels, etc.for 10/22's.

While wandering, I came across someone selling a brand new Beretta M9. I must have walked past the the table four times telling myself that I did not need an M9 (I have a 92FS so why would I need an M9). Of course I ended up going back and getting it... so if any one is interested in a Beretta 92FS, I'll probably be putting one up on the sales board in the near future.

I also ended up getting one of the new YHM uppers that does not need a traditional buffer tube/system because it has an integrated gas/spring system up under the handguard. (I'm pretty sure I've got an open DROS someplace where I can pick up another lower without having to wait... waiting sucks.)

I've already ordered a fake suppressor so I can cheat the barrel out far enough that I can then put a folding stock on it and have it still be 30"+ with the stock folded!

I was going to get a t-shirt that read, "If you know how many guns you have... you don't have enough guns". Unfortunately I had bought too many guns at the show and was out of cash (as where the ATMs) and these guys didn't take credit (so I had to be happy with just the guns!!!)
If you know how many guns you have... you don't have enough guns.
