Anyone hear about that attack on our base in Afghanistan? I thought I heard they were wearing our uniforms? News said there were 15 of them strapped with suicide vests. We've been in Dejavu land since 2004. When will we get out?

That's because it is durable and resilient in the bush of Africa. Not many platforms (in it's simplicity and lose tolerances) can handle the abuse and treatment an AK can endure.
