My neighbor just called about gunshots

She asked me to go outside and fire a few a few rounds to discourage some prospective buyers. She rents 80 arces across from me. It just went on the market and she doesn't want to have to move. Anyone else ever have a neighbor call just to ask you to go outside and shoot a few rounds?

I think $479 which is way too much because of the legal access problems right now.

3 shots fired from my 391. I could see them walking around outside whe I fired. They were in the car and driving off within two minutes. I guess they didn't want to stay for this evening dove hunt.

Haha I wish I had a place where my neighbors could ask me to legally shoot behind my house.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

Just drop some M-80s into a pipe for gun-fire effect.

Backyard, frontyard, sideyard, inside my home, it's all legal. Really, last Quail season, I got my first two birds with a pellet gun by opening the top of the french door in my kitchen and picking a couple plump birds from the covey that was walking by. I just happen to live in a nice hunting blind.

Are you kidding me? A renter? Tell her to do it herself. That way the police will come to the right house and you won't be knowing anything about it. Hopefully the rounds won't land in a mini van full of kids down the road. IDIOTS.

WOW, total ignorance here. First, it is 100% legal for me to shoot here. In fact, in about an hour, I'll walk outside and see if I can get a few shots off at passing doves. Secondly, I am insulted that you would even hint at me discharging a firearm in an unsafge manner. Finally, if there was a minivan full of meddling kids, they would be trespassing behind locked gates and have driven 3 miles up a private dirt road that I can much of the last two miles of. Besides, there are no roads within shotgun range of the dirrection I was shooting and, I shot into a backstop. Personally, I don't want some anti buying the place and complaining about my shooting or hunting. BTW, are you really calling me an idiot?

The renter is an idiot for asking you to shoot, if you do, then it's on you. If the listing agent can show that you did this to 'scare' off a potential buyer, then you could end up in court, plus the tenant would probably be evicted.
