does Gun Genie require two trips to FFL?

One to start DROS and sign papers and one to pick up gun?
    couldn't find answer here.... http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/a.../t-327329.html

Because the two cheapest quoting FFL on Gun Genie are "over the hill" in Santa Cruz area...but I haven't been to the beach in a while anyways.

yep just like all others. But you can do the dros before your gun arrives at the shop.

Why wouldn't it? Unless you have an FFL yourself, it would be illegal for them to mail it directly to you. Unless something recently changed in the laws that I don't know about.

Only if it is a long gun. If it is a pistol you have to wait for it to get there.

Yes, And if one of your options "over the hill" is Ralstons, they are quite friendly.
CalGuns Network (CGN) is different from CalGuns Foundation (CGF). Both need our support. I have gold name because I support CGN; plus, I send $10 every two weeks to CGF automatically via online BillPay as described here.

Not necessarily, as long as the FFL has the serial number they can begin DROS. I've done it when ordering through gun genie and I'm pretty sure turner's does this when ordering from their wherehouse.

Some will, some will not. I've seen this go both ways.
