Ok so here's the latest.
I took it up to the gunsmith at ammo brothers off the 15. He took a look at it and told me that the bolt should be fine. The chip is on the front of the lug, the part that locks is the back. He told me the front really doesn't do much.
His advice was take some fine sandpaper to the chips and smooth them wont without removing material. He also said every 50-100 round inspect the bolt and make sure there's no cracks.
Dude was very helpful and didn't even charge me. He also didnt laugh at my stupidity lol. I'm very happy
On a side note, I was reading online that ammo bros dosent do SSE for off roster pistols. While I was there I saw several AR pistols, a vector pistol, and a sig 556 (clone?) pistol. Seems they've changed there policy.
