Adding long gun to DROS

just how it is..

Ive been told most of the time (in store) the dros on long guns is "open". but... well.

Unless the shop is one that enjoys charging the big PPT transfer fee+.. than its an obvious no..

If your buying another long gun from them.. Its gonna be a different story.

The margin is the decider.. not the state (for the most part) on this one..

As it in all fairness should be.. The stores do bear a burden, so the marketplace should decide what "excess" transfer fees they should pay..

My understanding is:

One (1) DROS per handgun. So if you were buying 2 handguns (PPT of course), you would have to submit (pay for) 2 DROSes.

Multiple long guns (up to 10 I believe) are permitted on a single DROS.

You cannot mix handguns and long guns on the same DROS.
