Product review of the new StripLULA AR mag loader.

I bought one of these at the SHOT show. IMHO one of the best and easiest to use AR mag loaders around. Just coming to market.

    Attached to the magazine.

    Loading rounds into the StripLULA.

    Using the "push down" lever.

Tab at the bottom to help unload the mags.

I think they'll retail for something like $23-$25

Huh - so after handling it you think it is faster/easier than magLULA? Still haven't picked up a pistolLULA - need to do that.

            Yes. Here is a video:

The original maglula cannot be used with stripper clips, but the stripLULA can. With the original you have to work the lever with one hand while feeding rounds with the other. The striplula allows for one handed loading. I can feed 5 loose rounds into the stripper in 2 seconds. The push down loading motion takes 1 second.

Didn't realize it would do stripper clips and loose rounds - looks like an awesome replacement for the old spoons! Perfect way to solve the problem of needing two loaders for loose and stripper rounds, those LULA guys always impress.

Will it work in a fixed mag configuration AR?

No, if you have to brake open the action like the Cali legal Vulcans and Bushmasters. If you're using the Bullet Button, then you are loading it like a normal AR magazine outside of the magwell.

I'm jealous. I really want one of those. Anyone selling them yet? How does the unloading compare to the MagLULA?

It's slightly slower to unload live rounds, but I like to unload my magazines the old fashion way. Bang, bang......

I haven't found any place that has them in stock yet.

Nice post. I love my LULA, but this looks great. I have a bunch of boxes of rounds on strippers. Can never have enough strippers. ;-)
