Use 2 of these in a 36 cu ft safe. I have to plug them in once every 2 months about (they DO work, and indicate when they are loaded up by turning pink). When I plug them in to an outlet to dry them out I have seen a puddle of water underneath them in the morning.

I also have a golden rod just to keep any condensation off the guns in the winter months. too much money invested not to do it. I had a stainless steel revolver rust on me in a cheap safe that was in the master bedroom. The sheetrock they used in the safe for fire protection in my sentry safe is a giant wick for moisture when used where a shower is operated.

Those EVA dry units are reusable and cheap on amazon. Cheap insurance and easy to use.

I also use the EVA-DRY in my safes. I like the simple plug-in-the-wall drying feature and the indicator. I first bought a Cabela's silica-gel bag that needs me to tie up the kitchen oven to dry it. Not popular in the home; seems to conflict with dinner.

Yup I've got one of these as well. Mine takes a month or so to fill up, so I'm thinking about putting in a second one.

Maybe ditch the moisture packs for one of these.

I have a small golden rod. bought it for 25 or so bucks, it takes pennies per month to run.
I have a port in the bottom of my safe, to run a cord through... make sure you have one first!

I have two plugs in my Cannon Safe; put in a 12" golden rod; seems too hot for now but will plug it in during the winter for sure!!

I have an evra dry, works very well and i like being able to recharge it, instead of heating the silica packs in the oven
