Giving up on .45acp. I might be selling or trading my colt soon to get into 9mm.

I also might give up on 5.56 and get a 9mm carbine.

i've been thinking about giving up .40. i was going to buy a G19C but came across a G23C used at a great price. it's my only handgun and it's great but the other handguns i would want would be 9mm... the fact that my dad is setting up to reload 40 is stopping me. the compensated makes the .40 recoil less than the 9(non comp) im so unsure lol....
      War is mostly waiting.

I have 3 handguns calibered for 9mm and one Beretta Cheetah calibered .380...I've got a .357 Colt King Cobra with less than 50 rounds through it sitting in my safe...haven't used it in over 25 years

all I range shoot now is the 9mm handguns although my brother offered me his .44 magnum revolver yesterday, might take him up on it

I'm not your classic Calgunner collector, besides my 30 year old Mossberg 12 gauge, I have that Marlin 30/30 that i've never even fired...never even bought ammo for it lol

Gave up 9mm and 5.56 temporarily. Plan to get back into both once things start picking up.

I gave up .32 Winchester Special when I moved back to Cali as my father and uncle owned the reloading gear that I used for the Winchester 1907 I used (but my dad owned) for deer hunting in the U.P. of Michigan.

Other than that I gave up my .410 when I got my first 20gauge shotgun when I was 16.

                      Thanks for playing!

Great responses by the way, and we managed to avoid the typically CG negativity....quite refreshing actually.

I bought a Mossberg 817 just to try out the .17 hmr round. I prefer my Savage 93 in .22WMR so I could see myself trading my 817 and .17 hmr ammo for something else at some point.

With all of the .40 S&Ws that you're all dumping you'd think I could get a deal on one. I haven't fired any of my 9mm handguns for years, but I get seller's remorse when I sell any firearms. Besides, 9mm ammo is very common as noted in earlier posts and I have hi-cap mags. I do see the logic in consolidation though. Realistically, I have a kingdom of safe queens now.
