i love my mini and get 2-3" groupings at 100yards... thats good enough for me
i also like the fact of being able to use my preban "detachable mags" at the range without a problem

Actually with the shorter barrel (16.125) this thing will likely be more accurate than the 18.5 inch ones.
It's long been known that chopping the barrel back a couple of inches helps to negate the barrel whip Minis have.

It looks pretty cool to me.

I vote for Ruger to start building AK clones. 100% US parts. From what I hear, the Mini isn't any more accurate than an AKM, and it looks like it's harder to tear down.

Exactly. Making an AR now is silly, I think. It's a commodity at this point.

The only mini I would buy would be Mr.T's mini on the A team. Better than Hitlers death gun.

Are you kidding!?!?! That show just reinforces the stereotype of Minis being inaccurate. The A-Team would expend 100s of rounds during a show and they never hit anyone. At best they would occasionally shoot out a tire, which would then cause the car to go airborne, spin, and come crashing down on its roof.

                Now Rambo's M60 - there's an accurate gun.

Ruger ought to start a whole new lineup of weaponry called the Firefly series.

How about you boost your post count by explaining this position... otherwise it sounds like junior high trolling. I have a mini14, and an AR, and a remington 700, and a few other rifles that I like for various reasons. In my experience, the mini is hardly "garbage".

Their manufacturing capabilities exceed almost all the other AR makers, allowing them to reduce the cost per unit to a point where they can undersell the market.

                          You're joking right?

The mini is the easiest of any of my guns to take down. I don't even need a screwdriver.

In my experience, most Mini 14's throw the brass about 25ft before you tune them to behave better.
