Glad it worked for you. I have had problems with them , especially one of the managers. Very unreasonable and exceedingly unhelpful. Would not recommend.

You must be one of the very few to have a good experience at Greta's. Congrats.

I would suggest that, prior to doing any more business there, you review the following thread:

CHeck-out Fort Courage Armory in Simi, if you have not already - you will find good people there.

If you want to see a good selection of holsters or be missinformed about OLLs, then by all means, go to Greta's. If you're in Simi and want to go to a friendly, helpful and knowledgeable store, try Fort Courage.

Another +1 for Fort Courage. I've only bought one OLL from Tim, but the entire process was not only painless, it was downright pleasant! (Did I make that sound dirty? ) Tim and the gang get two thumbs up!

Another +++1 to Fort Courage Armory in Simi, and more so.

"California has a 10-day waiting period. I am in favor of these laws that are viewed by many gun owners as restrictive and unnecessary. /// Had these laws been in effect in Virginia 32 of our finest would be alive today. - Chris Biller (of Greta's Guns) "
No Chris, the 10 day waiting period would not have done a damned thing. Cho Seung-Hui had bought his firearms much further in advance than 10 days. So specifically touting the the 10 day wait in your letter is asinine - it would not have done squat - yet you would still support it.

                        A+...I don't think so.

A-O (pronounced "hole") might be more accurate.

Evevrytime I see their advertisements about the "friendly" gun store, I can't stop laughing. Don't show up 10 or 15 minutes before closing time bacause they are closing right then, unless you are coming right away to buy something immediately at full-retail-plus pricing. Even then, they are doing you a big favor. Don't even ask them to recieve a gun from an out-of-state FFL, they are not "friendly" to that.

As many above have stated, Fort Courage is a nice place. I have only been there once so far, but I still bought something I really didn't need because I want them to still be around years from now. Fort Courage is the real "friendly gun store" in Simi Valley.

                          +1!

I've gone to other gun stores in Agoura, Oxnard, Simi Valley...they've got some good staff, but Tim at FCA is by far my favorite. Plus, his fees are the best in this area.

Can't go wrong with Tim and the gang!

Glad to see others have a similar opinion of Gretas as well.

In my dealings with Chris everything was OK, but dealing with the numbnut manager there, forget it.

Go with Fort Courage or James Maddux. Top people.
