.22 pistols are awesome! I love centerfire more than rimfires, but when I know I can only afford ~50 rounds of 9mm, my Ruger 22/45 gets shot A LOT. It's a fantastic gun that will last forever and anyone can shoot

well my current lineup is:

Ruger SR9 Inox 9mm
Remington 870 Tactical 12ga
Marlin 22 cal single shot rifle.
Voodoo tactical plate carrier/w mil-spec plates
Medeval longsword
Scottish claymore
7 inch stainless steel folding knife i keep in my pocket.

I would like to add:

38. special wheelgun
a 1911
an AR
a remington 700 with scope. and thumbhole stock.
A Taurus Raging Bull 44 mag.
A 22. cal pistol, Maybe a SR22, or a P-22

I think the Ruger SR22, and The Walther P-22 look the best of all the semi-auto 22 pistols.

I just bought my first Mosin because they had 'em at my local Big 5 for $99.00 and the rifle has a history as rich as my $1,000.00 M1 Garand. The look ugly/cool, the round is badass, the ammo is cheap and they are just a cool gun that every firearms owner should own, especially while they still are cheap and plentiful.

I can't help but think in a few years, we will look back at 2012 and $99.00 Mosins as the salad days. The days of cool C&Rs being cheap and plentiful are almost done. Just like Enfields, Mausers, Swiss K31s, all cool rifles but they are no longer cheap and plentiful and the ammo is definitely not cheap and plentiful.

i bought my first MN 2 weeks ago, a 1942 izzy. now i bought a 1944 m 44 carbine. i am hooked. my 600 rounds are just not enough. i am going to be a hoarder with ammo. maybe 2,000 rounds of 7.62-54r will be enough. i plan on having many mosins in the future.
