Ruger GP100...a 1911..Springfield M1A...i am also a fan of a Ruger Mini 14.

Nagant are popular because for about 100 bucks you get a pretty nice rifle with a big bang that will do just about whatever you want ..and they are super cheap to shoot if you buy the surplus ammo like I do which is like $100 for 440 rounds..
