The STOP SB 249 (Yee) Campaign

I know this has been posted in other sub-forums but I think we need MAXIMUM exposure for this stupid bill banning the bullet button.

I have been following this, but frankly am a bit confused. What happens if SB249 passes? We would then have to register our BB AR's? I thought this has something to do with a magnet's ability to defeat the BB? Please clarify.

I think it is trying to ban more than bullet buttons. Either way I signed the petition because we already have enough of this legislation.

the language of the law outlaws "assault weapon conversion kits"

Now take a full featured BB'd AR in one hand, and hold a standard mag release in your other. If you took off the BB and put in the mag release you have?

An illegal assault weapon. Therefore, a standard mag release can be considered a conversion kit.

This is just ONE of the many idiocies contained in this bill

WOW... Yikes, and this is all because Yee saw the BB AR's on a TV news show?
