Signed shared, liked. I will be making flyers to post at all the local gun ranges and shops.

I am also thinking about standing in front of Wal-Mart to talk to people of this Bill.

I'm confused (not the first time). I thought that there was nothing to be concerned with in this bill??? If all it does is ban the Mag-magnet, what do we care?

Has something changed?

Hey I am just curious. How did this asshat get into his position and has anyone thought of starting the fight to vote him OUT or at least embarrass the hell out of him come election time? Really, people like this need to leave either through voting OR since we are a nation of action, through force. Yeah I said it but we ALL were thinking it... I am having 2000 nightmare flashbacks all over again.

One of the difficulties is that Yee's base includes San Francisco. I'm not saying that this shouldn't be done (which I hope someone in his district does), it's just going to be difficult.

Petition signed. I don't live in CA, so I don't know how much good an out of state signature is , but you guys have it anyway. We all must hang together, or we will all surely hang separately!

I went to that CRPA site and then sent mail to 4 of the guys in my district or whatever.

Damn.

How about we propose a bill that states ANY more BILLS shall only affect the districts that those assclowns are representing. SO, I guess in this case SF would be screwed if it went to law. Then the rest of the state can point at them and laugh and then maybe they will be motivated to do something about it?

This WHOLE situation pisses me off I mean REALLY pisses me off. I wanna say some real nasty **** to yee for coming up with this and just seeing his face make me wanna print it out and use it as a target but seriously, that kind of action will label me a nut (but if you know me you know I am a nut already) and get my 24/7 security at my house watching my every move... So really, this kind of crap REALLY needs to stop. These jackasses need to get the hell out of there. They are the few that ruin it for the many. I think that if we had a part time legislation that perhaps they would not have all of this idle time to think of new and inventive ways to screw us over. Someone seriously needs to ****ing TROUT SLAP this fool. I would make the trip but then I would have to take a long shower to wash off the SF stink from me. Yeah sorry, those folks have asshats like this in power because they voted them in and did not care to vote them out. They deserve this kind of leadership, but we do not. Keep jerks like that down to the mayor level. Let them rule a city and be insignificant to the rest. Like LA. Those guys are screwed up too and they are close to our county. We need to stave them off .

Oh damn, See what seeing this thread has done to me? Now I am gonna be in crazy mode the rest of the night. Goddammit now my whole night is ruined. On top of that I have said things that as mild as they are, would have other folks screaming at me to edit my post. Well NO. It stays! I ****ING MEAN EVERY WORD OF IT!

And BTW, I got a new Blur-ray writer so now I can clear off 25GB from my HD at a time! WOW! It is cool!

P.S. Thanks for ruining my night with this thread. Now I gotta go kill some bandits in Skyrim...

I am really curious what was the trigger that decided today was the day to start petitioning/posting. Has new info been released about the intent of the law, or has the wording changed?

Read the FAQ on the stopsb249.org page. It explains it well. This bill has a backdoor agenda. It's trickery just like anything else proposed in CA.

Thanks to OP for posting this. Signed.

EDIT: nvm found original text in first link. have a feeling that if this were to pass, it is one of those things that are so ridiculous and outlandish (yes, even here) that it'd end up backfiring as the state's firearm laws vs federal laws are already questionable enough as is... but the fact that we have such laws in the first places also says a lot...

Read the FAQ. Even featureless and RAW owners would probably violate SB 249.

I'm no fan of BB'd rifles, but we can't let them take away that configuration for our firearms. The buck must stop here. This, if passed, is already reason enough to sell everything you have that's an "off-list" longarm out of state otherwise they will take it away from you and put you behind bars. Never before in recent times in this f'd up state has MOLON LABE ever rang so true to me. How much longer can we put up with this tyranny?

Does anyone know or care to estimate how many OLL's have been sold in CA? That's a lot of unregistered weapons that people are going to do god knows what with. Some of those will surely wind up in the hands of criminals if they are worthless to owners that just go plink at the range. I guess they'll ALL wind up in the hands of criminals if SB 249 isn't stopped.
