I dont know about offensive firearms but guns with side cockers strangely excite me.
Iam a good shot. At least i think i would be. Iam a good free throw shooter.

If it's just the boom, I have no idea. I shoot 3" field artilary for recreation and 50BMGs competitively. I don't find either to be remotely offensive. So, I guess I have no answer for the OP.

My son's AR race rifle that he shoots 3-Gun with. I'm not sure what brand of muzzle brake that he has on it, but Helen Keller would complain...
        Then said He unto them...
"and he that hath no 1911 designed by my servant John Moses Browning,
let him sell his garment and buy one."
And they said, "Lord, behold, here are two Glocks."
And He said unto them, "Meh, it's a good start."

I will be sure to wave at you fellers when I am at the range rapid firing my 10-22 chik-chik-chik-chik-chik and making my best war face.

Smith claims the 460 xvr (extreme velocity revolver) to be the fastest production revolver in the world. I have the standard 8 3/8" version. A hot reload with a 240 grain 45 cal bullet at 2000 fps just about makes my world stop, when I touch one off. I wear double hearing protection-33db plugs and 33db muffs. It is insanely loud, but the concussion is even worse, and that is outdoors. I would hate to be near one in an indoor range or under an canopy. The recoil is no big deal-doesn't even sting my hand like a 500 smith does.

Smith claims the 500 to be the most powerful production revolver in the world. It packs a bit more punch with those heavy bullets, but they don't fly as fast.

I chose the 460 for the versatility. I can plink with light 45lc loads all day, run some mild 460 loads for shooting steel, or set off the car alarms at the range with the hot loads.

The 50 bmg rifles are pretty nuts too. I fired two rounds from a windrunner 50 dtc. It was an experience. At the turners sports fair, they put plywood barricades next to some of the 50 cal rifles to stop the shock wave. The blast shakes plywood at 4' away. The muzzle break sends the gas to the side at an angle, but that is still nuts.

I was told that if I used a knife in self-defense expect the prosecutor to use the name against me. Cutting a person with a "Skin Eraser" is a lot more evil sounding than using a "Boy Scout Knife 1A." So consider the names.

Hmm, so my Coldsteel "Mini AK-47" EDC knife choice might not be a great idea?

My 50 DTC can set off car alarms at Angeles and clear the benches on either side. Pretty offensive IMO...
