What would be the most offensive sounding CA legal firearm?

In theory what would be the most offensive sounding CA legal firearm? Some sort of handgun with a 2" barrel chambered for something like the .223 WSSM or .220 Swift? Would the super high velocity/short barrel create the most offensive sound or would it be a larger, slower caliber? Thanks.

      I used to own a rifle in 375 H&H

.375 H&H Magnum (Left) with .338 Winchester Magnum (Right) and US Quarter for scale

Not sure what you mean by offensive, but it was loud as ****

I don't know WHAT that is above.

I imagine a Magnum Research wheel gun in 45-70 might wake up
            the neighborhood..

I somewhat disagree with the term offensive, loud is not offensive if you and those around you are ready for it. I think small high speed rounds fired from shorter length barrels are pretty loud. My wife has a Remington XP-100 chambered for .223, it is really loud.

Seems like it would be a very short, ported barrel with a very high velocity round?

Are we talking offensive to the senses or upsetting to California's government?

I know that my 5" 460 mag is the loudest gun I've ever shot, louder than my dads 4" 500mag. Last time I shot it at an indoor range, a lady four lanes over left because the concussion upset her stomach. (I didn't learn this till after I was done shooting, they never said anything to me, they just left)

500 mag with a 3 inch pipe. I have seen one shot at West End. The guy got 2 shots off. Then the range master walked down and asked what the hell it was.

The fella was told to put it up or leave. I am still flinching 3 years later.... He is a member here.

                          AWESOME........ In a bad way.

I was at Angeles range and this guy was shooting a 20mm rifle, it was chained on his station. Bad mofo I tell ya.

I offered him $20 for one round and he declined, but he let me fire off a round for that price. I gave out my biggest "O" face. LOL! And, it was worth it. Don't know why he was allowed to shoot it there, but nobody said a word to him...
