    Turners Corona Grand Opening

We have the ad out in western outdoors news. I dont have the add (im at home) but we are going to have some pretty sweet deals. If your looking for a Cannon safe we are also having some of them on sale also having the sigma 9mm on sale on friday and the 40cal on saturday I believe. They are going for less than I have ever seen them on sale in the three years ive worked for the company and then there is the mail in rebate on top of it. If your looking for an XD45 we are going to have a smoking deal on them but just remember guys that everything is limited to stock on hand and that the grand opening sale is for Corona only. There is firearms and product cheaper than what I can buy it at and I (or any of the other employees) am not aloud to purchase anything from the sale less there are left overs saturday night.
I will try to post the some of the add tomorrow night but either way, it will be worth the trip down

Sweet deal on the 45. Got a couple questions:

            1. Can you tell me if the S&W 40 will also be available on Friday?
            2. Is there a limited amount of the XD45?
            3. Is the HiPoint 9mm also in limited quanities?
            4. Can I pay for all 3 guns in one day and DROS one every 30 days?

Looks like it is limited quantity. It's hard to read the fine print but "Only XX available"
              ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

XD 45 is great price but if you figure two round trips, one for DROS, one for pick up... But Sig 220 refurbished ones looks very tempting.
I will most likely buy SW MP45 at local Turners.

Edit: Upon close inspection of the picture this does not have external safety. I will stop buy and see which one is on sale.

'Cuz big holes are easier to see.

You can correct my spelling and grammar error anytime.
I welcome it. How else would I learn.

                1. I dont see it on any of the adds. It will be available but not on sale.
                2. Yeah. Its hard to see it because the picture is so small but I think there there are only 30 available. Only 1 per customer.
                3. The HiPoint is also in limited quantities. There are only 50 available for the grand opening.
                4. I would assume so but that also all depends on what the bosses have to say. Back when I was a gun counter manager I would say go for it and I dont think that our store manager would have a problem with it. I will try to remember to ask him but I dont know if he will be in tomorrow.

Maddog, since you and I know each other and go way back, how about if you remove everyone else's raffle ticket on Fri./Sat. when they do the gun/safe drawings except mine. I don't care about the fishing junk. I won't tell anyone if you don't.

It's OK - it is finicky with ammo, but cycles pretty well with MiniMags. Mine works well with Remington Golden until it starts getting dirty (200-300 rounds), then starts hanging up again. Accuracy is OK, but not great - my Ruger MK512 bull barrel kicks serious butt on the Mosquito. DA trigger is long and heavy, SA trigger is decent.

It does have a mag disconnect.

That's a good price for one (I paid that much used with an extra mag), and it's a fun shooter, but definitely just a plinker. If you want better accuracy inexpensively, get a heavy barrel Ruger.

Here's a range report on mine:

I was looking at the Sigma 9mm until I did some reading on this site about it. Is it really as bad as they say. I would just like to know before buy one. The Sig P220 looks nice but it's refurbished and only a 1 year warrantee. I already ha A XD40 so I really don't need the XD45 but that's a really good price. There is no way I'll even look at the Hi-point. May go with the M&P in 9mm.

Sig's don't brake........... o.k. Sig's hardly ever brake. Did you look to see how much a new P220 goes for?
