I did carry a revolver and 1911 in S.C. If I did carry here it would probably be my G19 or a G23 that I am considering. I have a Hk, Sig, Beretta, and 1911 they are all great guns and they all are more appealing to my eye than my G19. But if I have to choose a gun, to beat, and run it hard, get it dirty. I will take my Glock its like a G shock watch it is reliable and you don't mind if it gets roughed up a bit. My Hk is just as tough and reliable but I prefer to not beat it as much, mostly because I paid roughly twice the money for it and it still has that new look and feel. I guess it will need to broke in soon.

I don't carry yet but as soon as I can spare some money and time i'm gettin my TN carry permit. I'm gonna carry my XD 40 subcompact. I love that handgun, the recoil is not bad at all, I shot some 9mm's with worse recoil than my subcompact 40. Definitely a little dog with a big bite.

When I do carry in AZ and NV its a Glock for sure. Why? BECAUSE THEY WORK! Point and shoot. Thats all and nothing more! Theres a reason that there carried by more L.E than any other pistol. Its a no brainer....

I am a SIG guy. But Glock is my next platform and I have owned a G26 for CCW for awhile now. A tad bulky, but that's ok.

Because the guns on my LTC do the same exact thing as my g19 but don't have poor ergonomics?

Here's an example of how much I trust my Glock.

Went camping with my wife and two kids this past weekend and brought my Kimber Gold Combat, S&W 686+, an AR, and a Benelli M1 tactical for protection. (It was out in the middle of nowhere and we had 52 acres to ourselves, so figured I'd rather have more than not enough My Glock and Kimber are on my CCW, so I could carry either one.

Well, took the canoe out with my oldest to do some fishing and a speed boat flew by and dumped us both into the lake(Yes, I'm a dumb *** and novice, when it comes to canoeing)

My Glock was drenched and got a little mud in it from dragging the boat back onto shore. I rinsed it and put it back on, then test fired it and everything worked without a hitch. If it was my Kimber and it was covered in mud I would have probably taken it apart to clean it.

Glocks will work through almost anything. There are some that have stressed and cracked their frames, but usually it's due to using hot loads or improperly loaded reloads.

I fired a flock once and didn't like the fit in my hand. That us my reason for not owning or carrying one if I could carry.

Thank your neighbor and fellow gun owners for passing Prop 63. For that gun control is a winning legislative agenda.

I don't carry a Glock because I love my 1911. I did by an XD in lieu of a Glock because I didn't care for the plastic magazines.

However, when anyone asks what gun I recommend, I tell them Glock. It is a great gun at a great price.

There are so many great polymer gun options now between CZ, Kimber Solo Carry, Ruger, XD, Smith & Wesson, Kahr, and others its hard to say one is the BEST. I would trust my life to it functioning, but I wouldn't trust myself to hit what I was aiming at. Thats why I've chosen to go 1911, Kahr, or a revolver. Another one I couldn't hit anything with was the LC9 which I actually liked a LOT. I just couldn't shoot it so it was worthless to me. My favorite full sized gun is my P345 from Ruger. I will be putting it on my CCW and its been my most reliable gun hands down EVER.

I don't carry a glock because there are better guns for conceal carry. I prefer pocket carry and even the compact Glock will print.
