I had a barrel blank from Krieger spend 7 years lost in UPS.
Krieger made a new barrel and shipped it when the original went missing.
So when the original barrel arrived 7 years later, I called Krieger and asked if they wanted it back.
They said I can keep it as UPS had already paid the claim for it.

Best guess is that the long skinny box fell off a conveyor and was found by a service guy working on the conveyor system at some point where the service guy then threw the box back up on the conveyor and the barrel finished it's trip finally delivering to me.

I got the new barrel installed yesterday and boresighted after I re-installed the scope but I'm waiting for my new suppressor to get here before I work up loads for it. I just got the email today that the BATF approved my new suppressor 32 days after I submitted the form.

      From:eforms.notifications@atf.gov
"This is to advise you that the status of your eForms submission with the subject Permit/Control number has changed to APPROVED"

My first suppressor application in 2022 took over 14 months to get approved, the second one I ordered in 2024 took 8 months, the third one earlier this year took 1 day and this one was 32 days.

UPS sure isn't the same company it had been in the 1980's, that's for sure.

Back then, the company was run like a clandestine military operation, and it was tough to get a job with them because their background check and acceptance standards were so strict.

I work for 7 years them im in the late 90s . I heard that they're buying out all the old timers $150,000 buyout but those older drivers make that in a year easy

UPS was better when Ace Ventura worked for them.
