Just to add, did you legally adopt your step-son? If so, you should be able to directly transfer to you step-son without a DROS. You would need to file one form for all the guns and pay one fee of $19. If you did not adopt your step-son, then the previous answers appear to be correct.
Of course, always check with the current laws in effect. CA likes to continually change the laws to add confusion.Comment
