My 3rd Gen Replacements

When I left CA I sold a bunch of guns before I left. Two of them were Smith & Wesson 3rd Gen pistols. They were both from the "Value" line, one 908 and a 915. I really like the 3rd Gen Smith pistols, so I knew that I would be replacing soon after getting to OK.

So, a few nights ago I was checking out GB and came across these two. A nice 5904 and 3913. I wish I could have found a 3914 or another 908, just to keep with the same color as before, they were either in not good shape or priced too high. I got the 5904 for $449 and the 3913 for only $379. I had them sent to 102 Pawn in Shawnee OK, as they are only 8 minutes from the house and only charge $10 for transfer.

Excellent! I really like the older Smith's, too. Looks like you did great! The cheapest I've found so far here in TX for an FFL transfer is $25. But you can't beat $10 bucks!

Nice finds, although I personally would have problems selling my 915.

I did find it hard, but I wanted to leave as many off roster guns in CA as possible before I left. Just my way of flipping of CA. I hope I like my replacements as much as the ones i left behind.
