Likely no one here has met me in person that hates me, but anyone with a green dragon is someone I’ve met in person on the site. I think you can see by the way people “discuss” things here, it should stay here. It’s really a different breed here. I’ve reached across the board but I think I’ve had enough of the way people here try to rip you apart when they do nothing themselves. There’s plenty of people I meet in person and try to do my best with what I know, but man some people here really show themselves as very sad people.

You were thread banned, not banned because you kept trying to steer the conversation outside of the subject. It’s pretty typical for specific types who just want to argue about what you want to argue about. You kept bringing up voterID in a thread about SCOTUS and magazines and wouldn’t let off of it, even with a warning first.
So if you’re going to hijack the thread and have a gripe about voterID, I gave you a place to argue about it with people who would like to. If you saw the thread people were already complaining about the drift. Try not to go off on rants and it won’t be removed.👎 5🤢 2Comment

By marginalizing a huge number of people, telling them they don't matter, that you don't care about them, and that your made-up redefined version of "history" is right? Odd. Sounds like things politicians do when "reaching across the aisle" to screw over the people. I don't know if you're a perpetrator or a victim of the Newspeak you use, but either way...

The problem with this site hasn't been the people. It was clearly a technical problem. You know that. Your statement above isn't honest.

You seem to need a reason to hate on people that don't agree with you. You posted on this site that people were giving you a a hard time, when they were just disagreeing with you. Making you the victim.
Saying above the people caused the site to fail when it isn't true is hating on them. Saying people here are sad people - really?
In my opinion your need to keep coming here shows a flaw. You have your own site, so why the compulsive need to be here? If you are morally strong and convinced that you are right, doing the right thing - why?
You want to tell us where you fit regarding the 2A, yet many of us watch and what you say doesn't match where you say you are. It's true that others will not view us as we view ourselves - but IMHO one needs to try to be objective. When one doesn't recognize physical facts, that's not objective. Observing what works, and what doesn't work in society, in the world, is important.
BTW, I've never seen a site where the owner feels a need to give an icon to people he's met. Doesn't sound real mature, sounds like 3rd grade.

Ikeo has clearly stated not only that he is a liberal, but he's proud of it. He also stated that he is against the 2nd amendment. Rather than saying he wants to bring people together on a gun rights site when you state you don't believe in the very document that allows those rights to exist makes absolutely no sense to me. AND to support the liberal ideology which is the faction that wants to restrict and remove those rights? Instead of acting like a mature owner/moderator he is more of a virus and troll trying to remove our 2nd amendment rights rather than try to preserve them. BEWARE !! Many of us saw EXACTLY what you said and it sure wasn't 'blaming the killer.' Remember what I pointed out back in July...
That’s not what I said, but it says a lot about you to make that up. I don’t blame the gun, and blame the killer who got 50 years. I think it says a lot about this community though and it’s no wonder why this community is the way it is. I’ve had more than one friend gunned down, again I don’t blame the weapon. Instead, I train people to be able to defend themselves. There’s been several hundreds of people now based on the training I’ve done or brought to California.
I think your words are quite despicable and one of the biggest reasons to the downfall of the site. Folks like yourself try to bring people down and it’s a sad thing to see.
As I've warned you, repeatedly, deleting your posts, then claiming you didn't say that, then reinventing what you said doesn't work so well on the Internet.Originally posted by TrappedinCaliforniaWe don't know... exactly... based on all the muddling. However, the tipping point which pushed him over the edge was when he recounted how a friend of his died as a result of being shot and the banned member pointed out that it wasn't the 'gun' that was used, but the individual using the gun who committed the criminal act. That seemed to not only pique, but irk and insult him, where he started an hissy over being told by someone else what he experienced, resulting in the ban. Now, to be fair, the banned member was 'pushing' things a bit; but, most here felt the boundaries weren't broken, just 'challenged' in terms of the language being used and what was being allowed. It was deliberate on the banned member's part and it was predicted that a reaction would, sooner rather than later, be engendered. Unfortunately, since then, there's been a considerable amount of 'muddling' in terms of who the other member thought he was and what he did, which, again, most here didn't feel violated any rules and was considered less 'offensive' that many, many, many of the things posted over there, particularly regarding Kestryll and this site. My interpretation was that an 'education' was being pushed on him and he didn't like it.Comment

I said some people are sad and quoted the person, who continues to make up lies. If you are reading ‘some’ as all that’s not what I’m saying at all. Some want to fight me, some have threatened me here. That doesn’t mean everyone. I wouldn’t offer anything if that were the case. There’s a minority group and I think you know who they are.

Like I’ve said many times, the majority of Calgunners are good people, but there’s a contingent here that make it an unfriendly place. I also mentioned I come here to do specific things and stop by when people quote me or read through some topics.
I think there’s a difference in perspectives you think giving people a badge for coming out is immature, when I meet people is on the range at an event we sponsor, it’s quite common in the real world, for people get/give challenge coins all the time, right? This is a digital version for me, unless you think challenge coins are immature. It’s just modernizing some things that I’ve experienced when training with people that gamify aspects of it to connect the real world with the digital world. Sort of like a scavenger hunt people to encourage them to take a class or participate in a supervised match.
How many of you have personally met Kestryll? I think it’s good for a semi-anonymous site to have some connection to the real world. That’s my opinion.

You guys just repeat the same thing as if it were true and continue to distort it. If I blamed firearms, do you really think I would build a site for 2A? Common sense isn’t so common these days. Do you even consider the focus of having courses as the main thing that I advocate or the numerous certifications I’ve earned over the years? I really stopped paying attention to you because you cherry pick things and omit different things to paint a picture that reflects what you want. A number of you do that here.

I’ve not stated this at all, quite the opposite. You’ll find people who disagree and can argue respectfully, i don’t think a version of history is right.. We come from different places and experiences. I acknowledge that and create sections when people share that and get together. I’ve said repeatedly, I’m learning as I go. I’m from a different world and trying to accommodate based on what I know and I’m open to being educated. There’s plenty of people who’ve taught me a lot over the last few years. I try to give people the opportunity to pass that on to other people who might not have the same thoughts. Here, if you do that, you’re automatically a liberal left Nancy pelosi loving newsome blah blah. My goal was simple, help people who bought firearms train with them and become more familiar with them to protect themselves and their families. Since the start, it’s grown a lot bigger and I’ve opened it up more as more people with knowledge and experience come and share. I understand I can get things wrong sometimes and will fix things, but I won’t silence people who are respectful just because they disagree with me, but if they are there to cause trouble, which I’ve definitely seen, then I could care less about those people.

What you actually said may not be what you intended to say, but it wasn't about the "killer" being responsible. That's precisely what the guy you banned was pointing out and what piqued your sensibilities. You threw a hissy and there is NO distortion regarding that. Period.
Continuing to tout your so-called 'credentials' and claiming I 'cherry pick' just further digs the hole you keep digging. Remember, I'm the one who has QUOTED you from your own site. Even more to the point, I tend to include the ENTIRE quote and not just a piece of it. Play all the revisionist games you want, but you can't hide or hide from the Truth.
For instance, you claim to have stopped paying attention to me, yet here you are, directly responding to a post I made which alludes to the idea that you are practicing revisionism in that what you actually posted wasn't consistent with the image you attempt to portray of yourself or your site. It's just like you portraying yourself as a 'victim,' once again, then blaming everyone else. Give us a break. As I've told you before, if you'd stop posting here, the vast majority of posts about you and your site would simply disappear. Oh. That runs contrary to your self-proclaimed 'guerrilla campaign' objective? Imagine that.
How many times do you have to be told that training and matches aren't what the 2nd Amendment is all about? In point of fact, as has been discussed with you on this site and your own, you actually preclude much of the discussion relevant to what is involved with the 2nd Amendment on your own site. Thus, claiming your site is about the 2nd Amendment is... misleading... at best.
If you don't like what you see in the mirror we're holding up to you, then maybe you should take the hint and actually learn from it. Oh. That's not what you're in it for. I forgot. How many posts have you made regarding you deserving ROI for your efforts and how you want to hand the site off to someone else to run? Uh... That's not what the 2nd Amendment is about either.
It's just like your use of the word "liberal"...
How many times do you need to be reminded (and you aren't the only one)? Liberal, with a capital "L," is what modern-day Liberalism and Liberals are. When a lower case "l" is used, it means what the Founders were; i.e., traditional liberalism. What you engage in is far from 'traditional liberalism.' Despite your denials, it's clear that you practice not only revisionism, but censorship and narrative spin. You delete posts which make you look 'different' than the image you wish to portray and you've openly acknowledged 'editing' peoples' posts to be more in tune with what you deem 'acceptable.' You allow people to post consistent with the dissent in Heller, but then chastise those who take issue and point out the traditional interpretation of the 2nd Amendment. That's not traditional liberalism. That's modern-day Liberalism and they are worlds removed from each other.
You’ll find people who disagree and can argue respectfully, i don’t think a version of history is right.. We come from different places and experiences. I acknowledge that and create sections when people share that and get together. I’ve said repeatedly, I’m learning as I go. You are correct that you are from 'a different world' and that's what is being observed. You're only open to being 'educated' if you agree, not in any objective sense of being educated. That doesn't necessarily mean that you adopt what you've been told. It means, as John Wayne pointed out to Phil Donahue in the 1970s, that you LISTEN to various opinions, then make up your own mind. Your problem is that you don't LISTEN, period, full stop. Instead, you continuously attempt to 'spin' things to your own advantage or what you deem to be so. It's just like you don't 'tolerate' debate if it runs contrary to what you believe and 'fixing' things doesn't necessarily involve deleting what you've said previously, then practicing revision to make yourself appear better.
Once again, the 2nd Amendment isn't limited to 'guns.' In order to effectively discuss the 2nd Amendment, you have to be willing and able to discuss a variety of things. You don't allow for that on your site. Even your 'experiments' in attempting to do so were curtailed by yourself EVERY time it began to look bad (in your opinion) vis a vis your attempts to present your site as something a buyer would be interested in taking over.Last edited by TrappedinCalifornia; 11-20-2025, 11:43 PM.👍 4Comment

Not sure why you are calling me out in that post. If you think I gave you any sort of bad time in any way, I think you need to re-evaluate.

I've never made up things about you, or called you a liar.
Based on our messages and your posts I've seen, I do believe you are a liberal.
YOU SAID THE FAILURE OF THIS SITE WAS THE PEOPLE. You just avoided mentioning that little fact. You know it's not true.
We all can make bad decisions, but when you are running a forum, it can be important. I do think your need to be here shows this sort of thing. I think it's a bad look for you.
I saw another forum owner do similar things in the past. It didn't send well.
BTW, the challenge coin this is far different than your tag on the site. The challenge coin thing is for a group, usually a memory of an elite group. It's not "these people are tagged because they met me." It's worth noting that you don't see the difference.
There's no need to continue this conversation. There's certainly no benefit to me.Last edited by eaglemike; 11-21-2025, 5:25 PM.There are some people that it's just not worth engaging.
