    Staccato Gougers

    What’s everyone’s opinion of them? Just seen a P for 5k lmao.
    I think it’s super scumbag.
I can see 1k over msrp, while still ridiculous at least it’s not over the top. 5k for a $2.5k gun… robbery by cop 🤣

Isn't a model headed for the roster soon.

When I was working we did a few transfers of them to cops and more than a handful of Intrafamilial interstate transfers. I wasn't impressed with the gun enough to spend even MSRP on one. I'd rather put that kind of money into either a Wilson Combat or a Nighthawk custom.

I bought a few handguns here in the market place. Both were priced over what they would have cost new. I wanted them, I had cash, I didn't complain.

I own both a Wilson Combat EDC X9L and a Staccato P steel frame, both for a few years and both have approx. 1000 rds. through 'em. And 100% absolutely, the Staccato is well worth the retail price, at the time I paid $2089. They are both my two favorite semi-auto pistols in my collection. In fact, the staccato is my primary H.D. handgun, with a 20 rd magazine of 147 g. HST. But I would never pay $5K for my gun or even a Wilson if I lived in CA.

Or just don't support them. That price is too rich for my blood.

This isn’t a life saving drug that isn’t otherwise obtainable, it’s offering an expensive toy for those who can afford it. My opinion, about sellers (or buyers) at that price is “none of my business”.

It’s also not some super rare unobtainium. See them for $3.5 from time to time.

Their gun, their price...ignore it and move on...simple.

There isn’t a handgun on this earth that I would get bent over for like that. There are however, a handful of rifles.😊

I own a blaser r8 rifle, which runs somewhere north of these prices. Most people on this forum would probably think that was an odd purchase, but also none of their business. I didn't feel particularly bent over on the price for it (although I do wish the state of California had at least bought me dinner first).

Its the resellers I believe the opens is talking about.

Yes, that's the way I understood too. Buy doing the transaction with them, one is supporting the reseller.

You have never shot them. You can put one into a new shooter’s hands and they will outshoot most of the guys here. It is amazing to watch.

                              ^^^^^^^^^^^

Four times a year or so, I shoot with other friends and family at my buddy's 44 acre property and we have a range setup, extremely fun. And my most popular guns with the crowd are my HK SP5 and my Staccato, they are amazed at the shootability and performance of the pistol, they are mostly striker plastic gun owners. Everyone wants to shoot it. And it is made in Texas
