    sportsmansoutdoorsuperstore.com ?

Has anyone bought from sportsmans outdoorsuperstore.com before? Are they legit? It seems like charge sales tax to ship to CA but do I still have to pay the 11% gun tax on top of that when buying out of state? It has been over a decade since I last purchased a firearm. lol

The %11 would be paid at the gun store in California where you do the transfer.

      Good to go.
      Have purchased from before.
Have not purchased a firearm from them or any online since the 11%
Would think if the seller does not charge the extra 11% your receiving FFL will charge you.

Shop guns, ammo & outdoor gear at Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore. Browse handguns, rifles, hunting supplies & more. Order today for fast shipping!

Your FFL can charge what ever $$FEE$$ they want to receive the firearm.
This can be from $0 to over $100 rendering a good deal not so good.
Make sure they send the model listed on CA Roster if a handgun, unless you are exempt.

Best to check with your FFL, show them the model from website.
If over a decade since last purchase find out what documents they require and if they release on undetermined since mail order.

It's a bolt action rifle and the gun selection in CA shops are thin so I have to get it online. The last time I checked, I haven't been convicted of any crime and I'm still a US citizen. LOL The fees add up quickly these days compare to way back. Why the heck are we paying fees and taxes to exercise a constitutional right? Damn But that's a whole different topic of discussion.

Scheels Reno carry the brand model but heavy threaded barrel is not mentioned. i do see them at Cabalels Verdi.

Bass Pro California retail should also have them with treated barrel.
