Whats the current market like for off roster firearms? I remember seeing gen 4 and gen 5 glocks regularly gonfor a premium right away on here... now it seems likentheyre sitting even below the $1k price points.
did the the used market soften? Or is it due to the site being down for so long?

I think with the new additions that have been added to the Roster, people are buying those more and saving some money. Other people who have a listing for off-Roster are either lowering the price to entice people to buy, or taking it off the market. But no question, the used market has been getting soft for awhile now.

Gen 4 Glock values have been depressed ever since Gen 5's were released. Gen 4 Glocks represent some of the best off roster deals you will find in the FS section. You can pick up a lightly used Gen 4 for close to what it would cost you for a brand new Gen 3.Price out a brand new Gen 3 + tax vs a used Gen 4. So what is the benefit of a Gen 4 vs Gen 3?

I think things have shifted more towards a buyer's market due to ecomony and also election results.

Market got soft and is saturated with people off loading their guns.

I remember seeing Springfield prodigy's @ 2A for $4K and people were willing to shell out the coin, now i see multiple prodigy in the $2k'ish' range along with multiple stacattos in the $3k range and theyre just stagnant.

Market is saturated, there are new guns being added to the roster now and calguns is unreliable so many people left for other sites that actually work.

Market seems great out here, although of course the Roster has no bearing. I’ve seen a lot of sales recently, and just bought a Kimber Pro Raptor II from a member on NS and was able to pick it up this morning.

More handguns added to the CA safe handgun list, "Roster" means more options for buyers today than 2 years ago.

Currently, Riflegear has the HKVP9L OR, CA, for $919 - about $1,100 out the door. 2 years ago, if a non roster HKVP9 OR would hit the market place, you would see that in the $1,700 range. You could not get that price today.

Yes, the New Roster additions effect the off Roster market prices.

I hear people complain about the Staccato's being over priced in the market place.. People are also able to order an Atlas as a SSE.
Also, Jacob Grey, Platypus, Fusion Arms, I am sure there are more out there.
