Military handguns were never designed to feed hollow points.
The 1911 is a military design, so i never understood why people complained about it not feeding HPs without a little help.
The P6 is a 1960s design, before HPs became common place, im not sure if HPs are even used much in europe.
The Sigpro is a POS compared to the P6.

I have personally seen a dozen Sig P239 with the same busted trigger spring issue. All of them with less than a dozen runs fired thru them. At least three of them on the FIRST trigger pull.

I'm going to pass on those......

A P6 is not a P225. Close, but spec'ed differently. German Police used FMJ ammo when the gun was adopted in the late seventies. It was never meant to feed hollow points. They didn't care. I believe they are only recently starting to come into the modern age in regards to ammo. HP ammo isn't even sold in Germany. You can only buy soft points or FMJ. I need to ask my German cop buddy what they are carrying now. Hopefully something effective.

Really??? The P85 was my 1st gun purchase about 20 years ago and I still have it today. It’s accuracy seems to be decent for me and I never had a problem with it shooting.

However, I do have a 25 caliber Beretta that I’m not too fond of. It’s not that the gun sucks, it functions fine. I just don’t like the way if fires. It’s like a firecracker going off in your hand and the accuracy is not great beyond 20 to 25 feet but that is just how little guns function. I do like that it is so small that it could fit into your front shirt pocket. I guess it would be a good close quarters concealed weapon to have if the need ever came up. However, I would never get rid of my little 25… I’m loyal like that

In rebuttal to that; The glock 17 was designed as a combat pistol and feeds any JHP, or any round for that matter. But was also created much later compared to the 1911, or even the P6 in the 60's.

Hmm...Now that I think of it, I cant think of a total POS. What you WILL get from this thread, is you own the POS, and the guy saying that, doesnt own what you do. I say buy em all!!!

Bryco Jennings M59 9mm. My uncle has one and asked me to try it and see what my opinion on it was. You'll be lucky to get 3 rounds out of the pipe without a FTF. After shooting a magazines through it, the cheap safety somehow engaged and jammed on the last round. The funny thing is that eventhough the safety was somehow engaged I was able to pull the trigger and it ”clicked” with the last round chambered. You could pull the slide back about 2mm to see the cartridge but couldn't eject the round, due to the safety being engaged. I had to take off the grip to disengage the safety to eject that last round. So unless you want to throw away your hard earned money stay away from anything Bryco Jennings.

I don't own a gun I don't like. Some I like more than others, the others just take a back seat to my favorites. I drool and study before I buy, it helps with eliminating buyers remorse.
