All my classic guns are shooters. Otherwise, what's the point?

Not a real theme but have the service rifles from Trapdoor to AR15. I also like to buy the tang safety Ruger M77 rifles. Have a number of them. I have bought what I liked as much as what I "needed". That is the reason for over 35 different sets of reloading dies and 3 large safes.
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

With a few silly exceptions my theme is equity. I buy whatever, whenever the price is right. I want instant equity in a purchase. I am assuming that the entire collection will increase in value over time but I just want a head start.

Yes, I have Sigs. Specifically Sigs in either 9mm or 5.56mm.

There is also an AR thrown in there too, and also a Saiga but I guess everybody needs an AR and an AK.

Like ubermcoupe, my theme as of late has been OD... My XD40 was the first, then Saiga conversion with OD furniture, M&P 15-22 with OD furniture, next building my first AR with OD all over.. even paid a bit more $$ to get the raddlock in OD.. All of my others are revolvers, i.e. no polymer..

No real theme for me - I enjoy the variety. It seems they all fulfill their own little niche in some way or another.

I like things that start with .4

                    .40 S&W
                    .45-70 Government
                    .45 ACP
                    .45 Colt
                    .454 Casull

I've been throwing the idea around of building up a .458 SOCOM lately...

                    I don't think it's nice,...you laughing.
You see, my mule don't like people laughing.
He gets the crazy idea you're laughing at him.
Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to,
I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Just need to move out of state to get the one's I can't here and the collections will be complete. Yes, it is a rather large collection.

my "collection" theme is Diversity. That covers just about anything I care to add to it.

coming soon: S&W 19-3 6" blued, pinned and recessed. $400 plus tax, in about 98% cond. Couldn't believe the price.
