Silly uninformed gun stores

Greta's is the most FUD-filled dealer in all of Southern California. Some of the most ridiculous conveyance I've ever heard from an FFL has come from there, whether it be about legal, technical, or history. If you are in Simi Valley, don't waste your time; go directly to Fort Courage Armory.

Their selection of holsters, however, is the best in SoCal

Went to Fort Courage Armory and purchased a stripped Del-ton lower. Helped me out no hassle.. The owners and staff are laid back folks.. pretty knowledgeable but still humble.. .They make you feel at home. I'll probably do business with them again if need be.

Ft Courage is the ****. I just did a PPT in there a few days ago. In, out, easy took a fifteen minutes, it would have been quicker but the counter guy was showing me a few other guys his modified carry Glock 22. Paid the guy cash in the store instead of out in parking lot, very laid back. Wish it wasnt so far away from the south bay.

I sent them a polite email with a link back here. Hopefully this was all a misunderstanding, but if not then I hope it becomes a learning experience for them.

Remember that just because someone sells guns it does not mean they do or even have to know anything about AR's and the like, in fact there are still people that hate these weapons and probably always will, thats their choice. If you have any doubts just ask the simple question ( Are you AR friendly?) if not, move on rather than make a scene or make tempers flair. IMO

Most gun shops live in their own little world. They aren't out at the range and seeing what's going on. They should just go up to Angeles on a busy Sunday and see what's popular up there. If they only had a clue how many black rifles and parts are being sold...
