How to tell wife I just jailed a glock 27

Any ideas? I just bought Kahr p380 with a crimson last month and just bought the Glock today. Think she will be mad? Maybe the "its for all of us" excuse?

I never tell my wife because, she spends 10 times the amount of a gun at the Indian casinos.

It's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission. Just don't say anything about it, only discuss it if she recognizes it is a new gun.

Today: "Sweetheart, I am depressed. I went to visit a friend today to find he is in jail. There are people who would want him to never get out. I am sure he is innocent so I put $$$ towards his release."

In a week: "Sweetheart, my friend is quite likely going to be released in a few days, there will be no charges but there is a lot of paperwork. I want to be there when he gets out to welcome him back to a free society."

On DROS day, "Sweetheart, I was told I can get him at (inser 240 hour time here) o'clock. I am going to rush down and make sure he gets out just fine."

My wife doesnt pay attention to my guns. I bought a FNP9 about 8 months ago that she still hasn't noticed. It helps her not knowing the combo to the safe

I generally use the "Honey I know you don't like to shoot my hk45, so I bought (blank) to see if you'd like to shoot it more!"

First the flowers, next the chocolate, then the Dinner Reservations, and finally show her the gun.

Ive got my wife convinced that one of my major chores is keeping the guns clean and gear organized/inventoried/ready-togo, in case of WROL situation. She has accepted that, and you wife can too.

                              Aw, just blurt it out.

Also, make sure there's nothing between you and the door. Leave your testicles in the handy bowl placed beside the front door for that purpose before departing.

Seriously? I tell her and show it to my wife when I pick up a new firearm. She might want to shoot it. The worst I ever hear is, "OK, now where are you going to put that?" as she knows how much room there is (not) in my safe.

I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!
