Gun shops that set up NFA trust??

Anyone know if there were any gun shops in Reno, NV that can set up NFA trusts? Looking to leave some toys with family members that just moved out there.

I don't want to sound rude, but I wouldn't trust a gun shop to handle a NFA trust as its a legal document. Try and find a firearms savvy lawyer that can draft one up for you, that way you have the legal backing of a attorney. Good luck with your search.

Most FFL/SOT's out here in AZ will help set up trusts, but since you're in NV, that info probably won't help you. Of course, that's to be expected because you're on a California gun forum.

Unless the gun shop employee is a lawyer, I wouldn't put much faith in it.

Just go to a firearms lawyer and get it done.

How many thousands of dollars will that cost?
            You don't need a lawyer.

              Are you joking?

Setting up an NFA trust is around $200-$300.

And why do you need to hire a lawyer to do it?

Because if you don't get the legal language right, you could run afoul of Federal or state law. Not a good idea when mixed with NFA items.

Doing a trust like this yourself is like doing your own surgery instead of going to the doctor.
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

Stupid is as stupid does. I'm an attorney, and while I don't like to see family or friends make a mess with DIY or amateur legal work, cleaning up after someone's hack job is usually good for fees that are 5-10x what they would have been to do it right the first time.

No, I don't do NFA trusts, not trolling for business. Oaklander does or has done them, if you feel like supporting CGF people.

Also, my car needs some alignment work, can anyone recommend a good nail salon?

I work in public health. If you don't cook your chicken correctly, you can get sick, and then the resulting health costs will be 20X what they would have been to simply hire a public health professional to inspect your chicken dinner in the first place. I'm not trolling for business or anything since I'm not a public health chicken inspector.
