    NRA Membership??

I joined the NRA, via regular mail with a coupon that came with my H&K USP.

They cashed my check, a couple weeks back, but I still don't have a new member kit in the mail, or anything that suggests they've accepted my membership.

Maybe it was an application for membership, and I've been rejected? But they cashed my check just to see if it would cash?

So how long does it take to get my membership, I'd really like my sticker!!

They are slow. I signed up at a gunshow, and I think it took 3-4 months to get the package, and I paid cash.

I signed up online a couple months back and still don't have my membership packet.

Got a hat with a request for more money though, and my copy of American Rifleman a week after that.

Once it arrives... it will continue to arrive.. and you will get more.. and more.. and more.. your mailman will start to hate you And if you request for them to stop sending you mail... they will still send it. Although I can't complain about the monthly magazine

I joined as a Life Member on the Easy Payment Plan. For some reason, I quit getting a lot of the NRA junk mail. That being said, I kind of miss getting it now!!!

Man I was so pissed when they called and asked me to renew. The guy never said that they had an easy payment plan, and that it was just $700 something dollars or something like that for the lifetime membership. I said I can't afford that kind of money for a gun membership but I'll renew for another year. So he talked me into a 5 year upgrade and a week later I found out about the lifetime easy pay plan. I called them up and the beestards wouldn't credit my $100 something dollars to upgrade to the lifetime membership

Mine went through quick, about two weeks. But then I was a member before so maybe I was already setup or something. I let my last membership expire after they threatened to sue me. Only signed up this time to stay informed. I won't give them any money and I just hang up on them when they call.

8-10 weeks, but the phone calls and junk mail start immediately. You will also get a nice NRA hat and a request for money after about a month. Good job on joining though.
