It is. I just checked the Cow Palace website. Don't know if I'm gonna check it out...not really interested in purchasing any beef jerky or glow lamps

I had never been to a Cali Gun sow before so I was sorta excited. Then I got to thinking what exactly would someone have at a SF area gun show? I thought probably not really cool guns, then I thought hmm maybe some vendors who sell cool gear for guns and then I realized anything cool for guns equals evil, evil equals scary and scary means illegal.

So inadevertantly you have answered my questions. They sell beef jerky at Cali gun shows, chemlites and some knives of an unknown variety. God this freakin state is so lame.

If you're going to the Reno show expect it to be crawling with 10 times more DOJ agents than usual. We just brought over 10,000 new AR-15s into the state and they're going to be looking for people buying full auto parts and high capacity magazines. Not that I'm insinuating that you would do something unlawful, I just thought it would be worth mentioning that the PRK does police its residents outside its borders.

That being said, tell Iggy I said "HI ".

On the upside though I heard the Cal Expo show in Sacramento is going to be EXTREMELY cool and it's going to have TONS of AR-15 and AK stuff. My FFL ordered 10 AR-10 uppers from Armalite to go with those lovely HAR-25 lowers we've been buying !

I've got all the mags I'll ever need and wouldn't touch full-auto parts with a 10-foot pole. I'm going to look for parts kits to build my Soviet-style receivers into Cal legal self-loading 7.62 rifles, an upper for my Fulton, as well as try out my new C&R license if I see something I like.

The San Francisco show isn't too bad. Sometimes it's pretty ok. Well, at least compared to the San Jose show.

At the Reno show, the DOJ will be paying attention to people who buy high cap mags, and they will be taking license plate numbers of CA residents. A few people have been pulled over crossing back across the state line and inspected for contraband. Be safe.

Yeah, Miwall will have his usual pallets upon pallets of ammo priced to sell. If you're looking for bulk ammo, he's the go-to guy on the west coast.

As for the Reno show, I think they only allow firearms and firearm related stuff, so that's always a great show.

No offense but THAT my friend is internet hype...

Its been discussed here and on other boards rather extensively. Had this been the case it would have been ALL over the news. The logistics *might* be there but might and *did* are two different things. Until/unless someone posts an actual article stating its happend or a court docket #/transcript showing this is what's happend....its all just internet lore....

BUT all that said....dont do it folks~ You DONT wanna be the DOJ/ATF test case!!!!!
