Without a doubt the best place is AMMO BROTHERS over at Jurupa and the 15 freeway. Nice bunch of people. Great Store. Google is your friend.

    Ammo Brothers, Ontario. Ca.

for real? For a true person-to person private party transfer where both the buyer and seller (both CA-residents) went to BP to do the transfer? If so, BP ripped you off for $100 and broke the law. But I am assuming that it wasn't an actual PPT as CADOJ defines it.

how much is it at Ammo Bros?
true PPTs are limited to $35 TOTAL, and that is what AB will charge you for a PPT.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

$35. Set by law. Obviously Bass Pro charged you for something other than a simple PPT.

Thanks Bright Spot Pawn is too far from me and don't want to have the seller to drive that much farther after his 2 hour drive. I will head to Cal arms didn't know they were so close.

Oceanbob, Yes they charged me for a FFL after it was all said and done.

Unless you want FUD spewed to you in a fine mist of crap, I do not recommend going here. Go to Ammo Bros. in Ontario or Warrior One in Riverside.

On the contrary, I've found Bright Spot Pawn to be very informative and helpful over many years of dealing with them.

Maybe I got the lone employee who doesn't know when to shut his mouth about things he doesn't know. Either way I will never go back there.
