    Another option (instead of a 16" barrel) is to build as a semi pistol (like the InterOrdnance guns) with a permanently folded stock. Parts kits are running $2500+ and I have no idea how to do the semi mods...

            I've always wanted someone to make a STG44 re-make in 7.62x39. I know the cartridge is longer than the original 7.92 kurz and the mag would also have to be re-worked but I'd like one. I don't care what the price would be, I'm there should anyone make it.
