I have 2 guns. A Remington 700 30-06 and an 870 Express 12ga. Last night after I picked up my new 870, my wife asked me if I was planning on buying any more guns. She then told me, "You already have more than enough."
I'm going to be in VA, visiting my father in a few months. He's an avid gun collector. I told my wife if my father offers me some hand-me-downs, I'm not going to turn down the offer.
I'm taking her to the shooting range this weekend to break in the 870. I think she'll have fun.Comment

Just leave for the range with your weapon of choice, as usual, only carry it in a larger 2 rifle /pistol case.
Stop off at the gun store on your way home from the range.. arrive home with a full gun case!

Hmm...well, let's see. Addictions are defined by the presence of 3-4 qualities:
Tolerance - One requires increasing dosages in order to maintain the same response to the substance.
Withdrawal - One exhibits certain physiological and behavioral responses in response to the absence of the substance.
Psychological cravings - One engages in what are often elaborate behaviors in order to obtain the substance.
And some would include:
Maladaptive interpersonal and social interactions - one's usage of the substance screws up your personal and work relationships (pretty easy to do in one lives in KA, with its anti-RKBA bias).
Hmm...tolerance, withdrawal, cravings, cognitive conflicts with anti-gunners...I don't know about you, but I'm pretty sure I'm addicted.
