I walked into my local Wal-Mart here in Franklin, KY. in Free America
While shopping for trinkets and cleaners and more,
I strolled by the gun counter, hoping to score.
and what to my tired old eyes did appear,
but TWO AR-15s, and assorted gear!
One stock was solid, the other collapsed,
as my eyes they did well up and tear,
and the people around me were smiling and sharing
their stories of hunting for deer.
I took a look closer, was this all just a dream
No! They both had a price tag to show!
and I welled up with pride, 30-round mags inside
and a pallet of ammo below!
"God Bless Kentucky!" I shouted out loud
and the people, they paused for a spell,
I said, "In California, no guns can be found...
its a Socialist Cesspool of Hell!"
The salesman handed me one gun to hold
he said, "Why don't you take it today?"
It was tempting, that's true, but I had things to do,
so I declined and went on my way.
As I thought about what I had just nearly done
a broad smile appeared on my face
I can walk into Wal Mart and out with a gun!
Now I know why I just LOVE this place!
God Bless Kentucky!
