don't forget guys... it's not just horrid sellers, there's even worse buyers. I can think of 3 people on this board that have screwed me over just in the last 3 weeks. I'm tempted to start naming names... who wants to start a thread with me just for calling out these bad apples? Since they don't get ban.T anymore we can at least burn their reputations enough that they don't come back.

Personally if you post "i'll take it" first and your PM says you'll take it at the stated price and meet when/where the seller wants than that should be a "done deal" (ie, no conditions)
If not then we might as well just turn the section into an eBay deal.. Because that's exactly what happens.
Then again, if people had integraty then this wouldn't even be an issue.Member: Patron member NRA, lifetime member SAF, CRPAOriginally posted by tony270It's easy to be a keyboard warrior, you would melt like wax in front of me, you wouldn't be able to move your lips.Comment

Check the 'feedback' section in the equipment exchange on arfcom, or the 'reviews' section in the fal files...don't forget guys... it's not just horrid sellers, there's even worse buyers. I would welcome a post like that as a heads-up, side benefit is that you're covering your brothers and sisters here if they may be interested in another deal from the buyers you tried to work with.
I agree that both sellers and buyers are equally flaky, particularly on calguns.net. Sad.

Well I dont see a loose/goofy interprtation of negative feedback in the rules. It clearly states the very limited conditions under which negative feedback is allowed. Use the neutral feedback option and make it clear in your comment why such and such is a a** hat and should not be trusted.
And yes,I do believe as I have said before that if it can be sussed out by the MOD's that marketplace rules were either violated or circumvented, then permabans should go out.Originally Posted by Sic Boy

The only problem is I have seen some threads their deteriote to being online version of the Hattfields and the McCoys. I dont think Calguns wants to foster that kind of image.Originally Posted by Sic Boy

I'm saying that a commitment broken is as bad as a loss of money...obviously, not monetarily but definitely a time-suck.Well I dont see a loose/goofy interprtation of negative feedback in the rules. I'm also saying that other forums pay a lot more attention to deals gone bad due to lack of ethics by buyers and/or sellers..
I'd just like to see as much attention paid here to ethics v. dollars as it is on other boards.
